Benriach 20 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky

BenRiach is known for its bold approach to whisky making, distilling single malt whisky from both peated and unpeated malted barley. Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a Silver Medal winner at the 2006 International Wine and Spirits Competition and a Gold Medal winner at the International Spirits Challenge a year prior, a superb 20 year old single malt from BenRiach. This whisky has an elegant and soft single malt that has a polished, smooth and refined nature. Very fresh and vibrant for a 20 year old with a subtle touch of Bourbon oak. Mid-amber, hints of gold. The nose holds spicy, nutty, honey, vanilla, floral and fruity overtones, leading to a rounded medium to full-bodied palate filled with rich honey and vanilla.
