So so
I’m new to Bourbon and whiskey in general. I’ve had Jack, Beam and Crown. I’m trying to expand my knowledge. This Michters rye is super smooth. Probably because it’s 86 proof. It’s very different from bourbon. I’m thinking I like the rye. This one is an easy sipper. I paid $55. I wouldn’t pay more than that.
Really good, but not the barrel strength
This is a very good rye from a renowned distiller. Good overall flavors typical of a well-made rye. Good mid-palate and finish.
