Bottled for Fèis Ìle 2022, this single malt from Bunnahabhain has been named Abhainn Araig, meaning "Araig River" in Scots Gaelic. The whisky itself was drawn from a combination of ex-bourbon casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry octave casks, creating a complex and intriguing flavor profile. A blend of aromas including chocolate, ginger, and dried tobacco fill the nose; supporting notes of milk chocolate, raisins, and dried raspberries are complemented by honey, macadamia nuts, toffee, and cinnamon throughout the palate.
